Dr. Armindo Tambo, Ph.D.

Vice-Rector for Administration and Finances at UCM

Dr. Armindo Artur Mussa Tambo was born on October 11, 1979, in Zambézia province, Mozambique. In 2007 he earned his Bachelor's degree in Economics and Management and in 2010 a Master's Degree in Planning and Regional Development, both from the Catholic University of Mozambique. In 2014, he finished his Ph.D. in Business and Agriculture Management at Zimbabwe Open University.

He has worked as Assistant Financial Director for Pescamar, Lda (2003-2007), as Coordination Manager for Procredit Bank (2005-2007), as Head of the Rector's Office and Marketing of UCM ( 2007-2009), Responsible for opening of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences of UCM in Zambézia, and as Dean of the same faculty (2009-2015), as a Senior Member of the Finance Management Council and a member of the University Council (2011-2015) at UCM. From November 2015 to the present, he holds the position of Vice Rector for Administration and Finance in the same institution.
